Huma was an active member of ILPA (Immigration Law Practitioner's Association) while she practised immigration law exclusively and trained with them extensively. Once she started practising Family Law, she joined the Family Law Bar Association and regularly attends courses with them. Law is a fast-changing area and it is crucial for practising lawyers to keep up with the latest developments in the law.
Huma is registered with the Bar Council as a Public Access Barrister. She does some public access work and is a member of PABA (Public Access Bar Association). The bulk of her work is her appearing in court with briefs from solicitors. Advocacy is her passion and being in court representing clients before judges is her main practice.
